Very sceptical when I got this. I mean it's cheap as what could it possibly do that expensive ones cannot. I was wrong. Very wrong. Aside from tea tree oil shampoo's, this worked well to control my scalp flakiness.

A surprisingly effective cheap supermarket shampoo! Glad to see zinc pyrithione discontinued as it’s banned in the EU for being a hormone disruptor and causing DNA damage. After 2 washes, my scalp is much calmer, less itchy, less oily and this stuff smells great! What a win! Thanks OC Naturals

I have been trying really hard to find any suitable shampoo to treat my flaky scalp. Tried other brands but didnt work. for a decade, i had this problem. Then i came to know about Piroctone Olamine. This information was God send. Its a game changer ingredient. It has solved my dandruff problem altogether. I am really happy with product and keep purchasing it. Thank you Ocnaturals and keep continue new formulation. I did try other active ingredient like Zinc Pyrithione but it didnt work and my flakiness again came. I think these active ingredients are not like one size fits all solution. They all behave differently on different scalps. Anyway, my problem is solved.

I’m very disappointed, much like the others that have recently reviewed your anti-dandruff. I have been using this shampoo for many years, but the change in recipe is terrible. I’m afraid I’ll be looking elsewhere.

That's been our shampoo to go for years! It worked beautifully great price and glad to support an Australian co! But what a disappointment since the formula changed! Please provide the good old shampoo customers are used and happy to buy.

We have been using your OC for years. Great for controlling dandruff…. Until… you changed your ingredients.. …. Back to dandruff. Not happy at all! Now looking for new product . WHY did you do this??

Really disappointed to discover the change in formula. I used the new formula version and it didnt do anything to fight the flakiness and the itchiness. Please go back to the previous formula!

Company swapped out the Zinc Pyrithione to Piroctone Olamine. This does nothing, might as well just be using normal shampoo now.

I agree with other reviewers...it WAS a great product that worked well. Now the formula has changed it is not effective. I have purchased this brand of shampoos for many years as they are an Australian company. It is a shame that I will now need to buy an overseas brand to meet my needs.

Have been using this product for ages, but they have now changed the formula and it doesn’t contain the Zinc. I’ve been wondering over the past couple of month on why I’ve been so itchy and dry flaky bits in my hair. Pretty disappointing

Organic Naturals OC dandruff shampoo has changed from using Zinc Pyrithione to Piroctone Olamine. Piroctone Olamine is not effective for dandruff from my experience and from reading controlled clinical trials.

We tried this product as I had a spot of psoriasis on my scalp and partner had a very red scalp. Firstly rubbed a small amount of dandruff shampoo onto area then washed off after about 5-10 minutes repeated this for about 3 washes and my spot has disappeared, And now back to using the normal shampoo/conditioners. my partner because (He was also impatient) and his was a bit more intense tried Apple Cider Vinegar spraying on area leaving for 10 minutes then shampooing off with OC Naturals Dandruff treatment shampoo It also has cleared and now uses only the shampoo which is maintaining the scalp. I am not saying it will work for everyone as we all a different But it worked for us.
